Would you believe it? It’s about 4 0′clock in the afternoon & I just woke up! I haven’t slept this long under such comfortable circumstances for months !

I left my little hamster, Chocobun by herself at home but with her favorite treats & a new chew toy. I hope she’s doing fine & not worrying about me too much .

I’ll have a few photos when I get back .

• & animal villains who are bad to the bone!

It is no wonder that I adore Brian Jacques writing , seeing as I’m such a cute-animals fan.

Probably my favorite critter in Redwall is the otter! I cannot quite recall when I started scouring youtube to watch otters in action but I have collected several videos of them on my favorites list! Look how adorable & smart they are! I didn’t know they could juggle .

As I mentioned “treasures” … Do you know anyone who won an unbelievably amazing price charged to a raffle contest? I was so-up-to-the-roof impressed when a friend of mine, Rany, won the latest Acer Aspire Duo Core laptop from a Hershey’s Kisses raffle ! I’m pretty sure that thousands of raffle tickets have been collected & from that humongous pile, Rany’s got picked?! How amazing, is that?! I guess Rany had a leprechaun hidden on the toe of her shoe at the time she signed her name on that lucky raffle ticket .

Then this morning, I found him in his cottage asleep forever. But oh, he looked so peaceful - as if he just slept, dreamt & never woke up. I have had several hamsters who died of old age or illness over the years & yet, each time one of them goes, I can’t help but sigh deeply after a loss. I would miss Jujubear terribly but, in my heart, I don’t feel sad at all because I knew he had died free of pain & illness.

He did look as if he was just asleep with his paws neatly tucked together & his eyes closed comfortably. I guess he was old already but I just didn’t know it because to me, he had always been the cute little hamster pup I had cared for & “coochi-cooed” over for more than 2 years. Goodbye Jujubear, good night, I know that now you’re in the rolling fields & meadows where the giant sunflower seeds grow.

Second off, I have found the will to draw once more , now that I can put my mind off losing a pet once & for all . Sketched & inked Mephistopheles, the demon in the Faust legend who bargains with the latter for wealth, knowledge, etc. in exchange for his soul.

There are a few missing & deffective pages here & there but I’ll soon manage to put everything up, organized & working. I never knew such a move would take up so much time & effort . I thought it would only take a handful of folder renames but I was sooo wrong.

It’s been a while since I designed business cards so I took a stroll around the internet to check out which layouts are in . During my search, I stumbled upon Moo, which I recommend that you visit! True that 3 letters doesn’t say much but hey, they’ve got the most stylish approach to printables I’ve ever seen!

For inspiration, I let myself into Creative Bits & caught myself ooh-ing & aah-ing at some unconventional yet super-attractive business card designs (meant to be kept miles away from the shredder) he had featured.

Lastly, I found this insightful & comprehensive list of Best Practices in Busines Card Design, which I thought I should share to you. This will definitely come in handy when you design your own business cards!
