I’m a Redwall fan so I have just about every book in the series by Brian Jacques ! Redwall is a bestseller with stories told in the style of "Watership Down", but even better! Jacques’ world is made up of:
animal babies who are delightfully funny,
animal scholars who are champion riddle solvers,
animal chefs who can cook a feast in a flash,
animal heroes who are unwaveringly just
& animal villains who are bad to the bone!
It is no wonder that I adore Brian Jacques writing , seeing as I’m such a cute-animals fan.
Probably my favorite critter in Redwall is the otter! I cannot quite recall when I started scouring youtube to watch otters in action but I have collected several videos of them on my favorites list! Look how adorable & smart they are! I didn’t know they could juggle .
Hmmm brian jacques sounds familiar I think I read a book that he wrote about a mouse or something…or I think I’m thinking about something else. Those otters are cute.
In the beginning I wasn’t too convinced about books with talking animals but after reading some of them I came to love them. I haven’t read Redwall (yet) but I sure as hell will the next time I go to a bookstore (:
