I was so bored yesterday
that the cogs in my brain worked overtime to fill in the hours when I had none to do. I rummaged through my toolbox & managed to find a few decent spools with good lengths of string.
I grabbed my crochet hook (which, by the way, I filched from my grandmother’s toolbox 5 years ago - now that’s a confession right there
) & started crocheting - as in: "chaining", "single-stitching", "slip-stitching" here, there & practically all over the place. I’m quite pleased with it
, what do you think
Chinese dumplings, anyone
?
I want to share photos of one of my gorgeous hamsters, Chocobun, with all of you ("sharing" is a subtle way of saying "showing-off"
).
I told you once about Biscuit having hamster pups last year. Chocobun is one of Biscuit’s babies. Here are pictures of her from when she was still a pup & one of her now.
Isn’t she pretty
?! I would love to hear comments (e.g. praises, compliments
) of my little pet’s unparalleled cuteness
, so give it!

They are SO incredibly cute! And you made them yourselves? Wow… I can’t crochet… and I make terribly mistakes when I knit. I like the little box you made for them too! Hehe… dumplings I would never eat.. they’re too cute to be edible.. haha… anyway I guess I should come and read your blog more often! Looks like your hamsters are doing well! Chocobun… what a name! xD

Those puffy dumplings are cute! I still wonder how exactly people are able to form those strings into balls with just that stick. I had a home economics subject in grade school and I even made a crocheted round mat but I totally forgot about the whole process after.
Your hammie is too cute… hamtaro!
