Despair.nuHamster Babies

I was mildly upset when I found out that pretty baby Biscuit & rolly-polly Panda were going to have babies of their own. I knew what a big responsibility it would be if Biscuit was going to have a litter. Giving Biscuit the loving attention she needs takes up much of my time already, what more if she was going to have a litter 
.
Last week, she delivered a litter of 10 hamster pups! OMG, why didn’t it have to be 5?! So she had to deliver 10?! Me being mildly upset escalated to me being outrageously upset! My imagination fast-forwarded to a picture of 10 hamsters plus Biscuit & Panda frolicking in my bed, tugging on my sheets, ruining my carpets, & raiding my fruit basket 
.
Then, after a few days I realized I was falling in love with them. I couldn’t help it, really. They’re just too adorable 
. I don’t want to be too attached since I’ve already decided to give them away to the pet store when they’re old enough. I’m sure it would be difficult for me when that fateful day comes 
.
Honestly, I’m a bit anxious that I’m going to end up keeping all of them - they’re just too adorable!

They are so cute! I wouldn’t give them away if I was you… 
Though maybe 12 hamsters is a little bit too much.
I wish I had a hamster… can I have one? hehe Goodluck with them and don’t get too upset when you give them away, you still have Panda and Biscuit!

Aww, they are so cute!! That sucks - you’re caught up in the middle =(. Afterall, they deserve your attention =).

Gosh, what adorable babies! :tongue: And these pictures make me miss my deceased hamster oh so much. Meanwhile, don’t worry about the maintenance. A friend of mine breeds hamsters and informed me that rearing several baby hamsters isn’t that bad.
All you need is to house them in a spacious tank, and clean that tank at least once or twice a week, plus shower them with attention. :tongue:
