Metro Manila has experienced the wrath of a typhoon, nicknamed "Glenda" by the weathermen
. I had anticipated its coming a week before it hit my city. She was one angry & howling giant bag of strong winds & waters . My street was flooded for days & I wasn’t able to see steady sunlight for more than five minutes . But last Tuesday was da bomb & I saw everything that went on from the 12TH floor of my building. My neighbors & I began to throw bets whether a passing vehicle could make it through the flooded street or not!

The jeepney made it, the van made it, the SUV made it, even a raft made it! You won’t see any pictures of cars crossing the flooded street because none made it. Cars suck, except if it were a Ferrari or a Bentley
.
