I’m back from the "Graveyard-Grave"
. I felt like I’ve been without a social life for ages. I miss my regular-sched gym maties. Now that I workout in the mornings, I don’t get to see them anymore
. Instead, I get to workout with the yoga posing people
.
At this rate, I might have to consider plastic surgery or botox injections by the time I’m 30
Oh well, I’m getting a bit over the top here so on with the graveyard talk
. Yaaargh
. I survived thanks to my Graveyard/Night Shift Survival Kit:
- Moisturizer - after about 2 night shifts, your skin would dry & dull out without it
- Multivitamins - make sure you take some before going to sleep together with your Sleepytime Tea else you’ll definitely get sick
- Sleepytime Tea - your body clock would insist on sleeping at night. The only way to prepare yourself for the next hell’s night shift is to take some in order to get straight hours of sleep during the day.
- Green Tea - this is tea you ought to take
DURING your night shift as substitute to coffee
- Milk & Cookies - if you find yourself wanting to quit your job,
sobbing or
ranting because you’re on night shift, take this together with your Sleepytime Tea & your Multivitamin. Milk & cookies could just be the best pair of comfort food on earth.
