Christmas? 
It’s nearly Christmas & I have yet to do the shopping 
. Shopping has always been serious & exciting business for me but not this time. I’ve had numerous opportunities to buy presents but I’m just out of it 
. I can’t get myself into the spirit of things. I’m not feeling it 
.
I don’t feel Christmas-y (i.e. warm & fuzzy inside) & the thought of putting up a Christmas tree has not crossed my mind. God forbid that I accidentally step under a mistletoe. I’d probably end up gauging the eyes out of whomever I’ll be caught under it with 
. Rawr.
Oh, pardon me for being Grinch-y 
but that’s how I feel about things for now. 
Yaaargh, it’s not like I’m requiring myself to be this way. Hopefully, I’ll get over this.
Crash-Downs
I have been through much stress for two weeks following my vacation. Sheesh!
Would you believe it? The fan on my IBM R40 crashed down. My IBM has been running strong for over 3 years & I thought she would last forever, but I was wrong. I had to give her up for a a week while the laptop doc repaired the problem.
I really needed another unit to use at home, so I purchased a new CPU at MIR Computer Networkx - the dang thing 
crashed after a few hours use! So, I had to take it back for a full refund.
Then came the 
hunt for a more reputable CPU vendor, which took a few days.
Finally though, I landed an excellent deal at 
PC Gilmore.
Now, I am enjoying my new Intel Dual Core 2.2 Ghz CPU (MSI 7300 motherboard, Kingston 1GB DDR2 Memory, Samsung 80GB Hard Drive, ASUS Sata DVD-RW Optical Drive) for less than $250 
.
My laptop’s still with the repairman to this day but now, I can wait 
. My new CPU has allowed me to allow him all the time he needs… I’m glad that’s over 
.
Chewey
My bf, Andykins, surprised me with a charming puppy last week. I was only able to write an entry about her today as I’ve been busy “worshipping” her.
I christened her Chewey, just because! She has a sweet temperament and likes to be held almost all the time. She is a pomeranian/poodle mix and she’s friends with my hamsters!
